What are Air-Trekkers and what the heck is 'bocking'?

Originally invented and patented by German engineer Alexander Boeck, Air-Trekkers are a spring-loaded stilt that you safely strap onto each leg. Once strapped on, you stand 18" taller, with 3 foot long, space-age, carbon-fiber springs attached to your legs, ready to send you into orbit. By means of compression and deflection, similar to a trampoline, the spring accumulates, stores and returns the amount of energy you put into it.  You must read this.  First, generally we believe you should buy the spring category one weight class higher.  If you are a normal person this should work for you.  Even if you are near the bottom of a weight category, we recommend you buying in the next higher category.  WHY?  Experience!!  Yes we love and use jumping stilts.  We know how newbies develop.  We know the learning curve.  We know what you will want in 6 months.  If you are a young un-aggressive female, you should follow our guide above.  If you are a 20 year old extreme sports fanatic, consider buying the weight category two sizes up.  Seriously. 

Ask yourself these two questions. 

1. What do you weigh?  2.On a scale of 1-5 how aggressive are you athletically?

Air-Trekkers come with a FREE 1 YEAR WARRANTY on all parts (excluding the rubber feet). This one year warranty even includes the carbon fiber springs!

Does this mean those rubber feet are ignored? Nope! They have a 6 month warranty. Jump as much and as long as you want. If those rubber feet wear out in less than 180 days, we’ll replace them on our dime. Of course, damage due to improper use is excluded from these warranties.

How easy is it to get started?

Mr. Boeck's German company makes a very high end product, but the brand is very expensive and they're tough to get. These units are designed for very experienced bockers and are typically used in theatrics.

What weight category spring should I buy?

Our superior designed product has soft springs, which make it easier and more fun to get started and eliminates jarring on your body. We do however recommend you buy an Air-Trekker model with a weight category at least one category higher than your body weight. Why? The learning curve on Air-Trekkers is very short. In no time, you will be more aggressive with your Air-Trekkers as you try to achieve huge air. If you don't have aspirations of BIG AIR, you can buy the Air-Trekkers model within your weight category, but NEVER use a pair below your weight category.

What is the Warranty on my Air-Trekkers?

Air-Trekkers' warranty is straightforward and simple: one year on ALL parts, with the exception of the foot pads. Even our new carbon fiber springs have a one year warranty! This warranty is unmatched!

Is Bocking with Air-Trekking Dangerous?

Anything can be dangerous if used improperly. Air-Trekkers are not toys, take them seriously! Just as you're not an instant Maui north shore surfer, scratch golfer, black diamond snowboarder or X-game skateboarder, you won't be doing back flips on your Air-Trekkers the first day!
