Jokari is a fast moving game played much like handball or racquetball.
The playing area is divided into two sections by an imaginary line at the block. A player hits the ball across the 'line'. The ball bounces and is returned by the elastic band. The strategy is to hit the ball so that the opponent is unable to return it.
Jokari is a competitive game scored to 21 but can be played alone for fun and exercise.
Features of the Pro Set:
- The paddles have 15 plywood layers and 2 fiber-glass layers for extra strength
- The paddles have built-up handles wrapped with leather for comfortable gripping action
- The anchor block is heavy for extra holding power

The rules and instructions noted on the box are MISSING.
The paddles appear to be in good shape. The spongy material on the bottom of the base is coming off, probably due to age, and sticks to your hands if handled too much. The elastic string attached to the ball and base looks very worn and will need most likely need to be replaced.
The orignal box is included but it does have some wear and discoloration and is torn in a few spots.
