The DSR (star rating system) and the reality is that any rating lower than 5 on the eBay feedback star's can have a significant negative impact on MdSports as a seller or any other seller on eBay that you are rating. Because eBay has structured the system to reward sellers with over a 4.6 average in each 30 day segment, and to penalize sellers with under a 4.6 average.
Yet from the wording of the allowed ratings that ebay has put into place, a buyer would never know this and most would naturally assume that a 4 star rating is a very good rating. Did you know that if a seller has a 4.6 or lower rating, eBay will penalize that seller by charging them higher fees, and disadvantaging that seller’s items in the ebay search?
What does this mean to you as a buyer? Unfortunately, what this can mean is higher prices. The more fees eBay sellers pay, the more they must charge for their items. When a seller’s items are disadvantaged in search, sales slow and prices increase. So please BEFORE you post permanent feedback if you feel as if MD Sports did NOT earn an all 5 star rating from you please let us know and give us the chance to make whatever you are unhappy with right.
"A Note about the Shipping and Handling Star"
Shipping and handling charges are stated in all of MD Sports Online ads. Since you as a buyer are aware of the shipping and handling charges before purchasing the item, the most important points to consider when leaving a star rating for shipping charges are NOT those charges as you have already agreed to them, but the following:

Quote the shipping/handling price in the original auction/store listing and that is what you were charged?
If your answer is yes OR you received "FREE" Shipping, then please choose the 5 on the star rating for the shipping and handling charges section.
"Shipping Time"
The most important consideration for the Shipping Time star is when the item was actually shipped, not when the item was delivered. MD Sports has no control over how many days the package takes to deliver to your home/place of business. This is particularly true for International orders, which are often delayed by customs or postal inspectors. You can easily assess when the package was shipped by the postmark or other similar date marking, and rate MD Sports based on this date, not the overall delivery date. If you require your item be expedited, please contact us before sending payment.
"Communication"
MD Sports is dedicated to making sure that you know that your item has shipped. We send an email to let you know your item is on its way to your door. In that email, you will find the carrier name and the delivery/tracking confirmation number with the USPS, UPS or Fedex link. Please check your bulk folder. Often that email slips into your junk mail or bulk mail folder.
"Item as Described"
MD Sports DOES NOT mask an item or try to mislead or cover something up in an ad. If you have an issue with your item please contact us before posting the feedback along with the 5 star rating for this as well. We are human and could of accidentally missed something on that item. We are NOT in business to lose your business but in business to "KEEP" your business. Please let us know if something isn't right about your item or it doesn't match the description in the ad.

Domestic Shipping Methods:
USPS Priority Mail: 2-4 days
UPS/Fedex Ground: 1-6 days (we reserve the right to use Fedex instead of UPS)
US Shipments outside of the continental US (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and any other US holdings & territories), must ship United States Postal Service.
International Shipping Methods:
USPS Global Priority/AirMail: 10-21 days
International buyers are responsible for any/all duties/taxes. Please don't ask us to be dishonest on a custom's form. If you have purchased an item from us, we can not mark it as a "gift".
Fedex/UPS shipments include $100. of insurance. USPS shipments will ship uninsured unless the buyer specifically purchases insurance. While insurance is optional, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance to cover your item for the full purchase price. We will not be responsible for lost packages, damages etc. to shipments that are uninsured or underinsured.
USPS domestic insurance rates = $1.50 for each $50.00 worth of insurance
USPS international insurance = $3.00 for each $50.00 worth of insurance
When possible, we will combine shipping charges if you win more than one item within a 72 hour period. In order for us to combine shipping, you must make ONE (1) payment for all auctions. If the items are breakable, back-ordered or temporarily unavailable, we may opt to ship items in individual packages with individual shipping charges, at our discretion. We can ship no more than 3 items together depending on size. Shipping insurance is your responsibility, if you want to purchase insurance, please let us know when you send payment. We cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. If you need to file an insurance claim, we will do everything within our power to help. For your benefit and ours, we ship all domestic packages with a tracking number. You will receive an email with a tracking number usually the day before we actually ship. Please allow at least 36 hours for the item to start tracking online. |

Order Processing:
Most orders are subject to a minimum two (2) to five (5) business day processing time. If your items are readily available, we may be able to process your order in one (1) to three (3) business days of receiving your cleared payment. Occasionally, orders may take more than five business days to process. If we will need more than three (3) to five (5) business days, we try to keep you updated by email of your order status. Orders begin processing each business day at 4:00pm EST. If your payment is received before 2:00pm EST, the next business day will be your first processing day. We are open M-F 9am-6pm EST. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Please note that order processing time is in addition to the shipping transit time selected during your checkout. Order Processing/Transit days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Upgrading your shipping only shortens your Transit time, and your order is still subject to a minimum of 3-5 business days for processing.
Merchandise Availability:
Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, merchandise may not be available for 30 +/- days from the date of purchase. If we know of a delay in the processing of your shipment, we will contact you as soon as possible. This may be before the auction ends, shortly after, or within a few days after we receive your order information. If you are not willing to wait for the merchandise, please let us know, we will gladly and promptly refund your payment as quickly as possible. By bidding, you agree to this possibility. If you do not agree, please do not bid. We want you to have your item! If your shipment is delayed for more than a few days, or is back-ordered, we are as upset as you are. Please be patient while waiting for your item, we are as anxious as you are to get your order to you! |

Refunds & Returns |
We accept returns of most 'Brand New' items with the following conditions:
1) The product has not been used. This means that we must be able to re-sell the item. The tags must be attached, and packaging should be intact and returned with the item. If you buy skates and the boots are molded, scuffed, or worn for more than a "try-on" or the wheels have been moved on a floor, we cannot re-sell the item. This determination will be made by us upon receipt of the returned item.
2) The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees to send the product back to us. The buyer must provide us with a tracking number. Please pack the item you are returning carefully. Damages during shipping caused by poor packaging may delay or void your refund.
3) There will be a 30% restocking fee charged for any and all returns unless we shipped the wrong item. We do refund shipping fees if we have shipped you the wrong item. We do not refund shipping fees on returns or exchanges. Returns must be initiated within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the product. All of our items are shipped with tracking to determine the date the item was originally delivered. If you have received an item that you would like to return, you must contact us by email or phone within 24 hours of delivery for an authorization to return.
4) Any insurance claims for damages of product(s) during shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer must file any and all insurance claims to recoup money. We will, of course, be happy to help in the resolution of any insurance claim, but the buyer is ultimately responsible for the completion of the claim. |
