Up for auction and bidding is for a VERY RARE find from the 1950's or early 1960's - Vintage 14 FEET 100% Solid BALSA Wood Surfboard / Longboard. This surfboard / longboard is in remarkable condition for its age . . . although it did show visible wear from time . . . but still in great shape considering it's old. The board is made of 100% SOLID BALSA WOOD with a top cover/coating on it, something like a synthetic cloth or vinyl cover. The wood itself is still in very good shape . . . no cracks or breaks . . . except for the top covering which it has visible wear on it, as shown. As the owner said, the board was acquired from a friend in the 1960's  . . .  and that it was used by Bishop Mc Vinney . . . but they don't know the exact age of it . . . maybe from the 60's or even earlier . . . . As said, the board was made of 100% SOLID BALSA WOOD . . .  and it measures 14" long, 22" wide, and 4" thick and weighs about 40 to 50 pounds approximate. We don't know much about this surfboard / longboard, but it does really posses great vintage value and RARITY . . . we can't find any markings on it . . .

NOTE : Shipping this board is quite expensive . . . we do prefer local pick-up . . . but we could still shipped it to the winning bidder if they are willing to pay for the shipping cost . . . and it's gonna be expensive to shipped this kind of board . . . it's long about 14 feet. Again, this is a VERY RARE great find . . . you seldom see this kind of surfboard on ebay  . . . .  and would be a great for display and collection for surfers . . . again . . . you rarely see this kind of item for sale.
