Mint condition, one-time pull, using heat gun and Mitchell shaft puller, Matrix Ozik Xcon-6 S-flex (266cpm with 205g weight and spine aligned in 9:00 position, using a Mitchell Digiflex Shaft Frequency Meter, this is at playing length 45", 252cpm at raw length), actual shaft weight 68g, length 44", .350 tip, 1½" tip prep, has not been tipped, will play about 45½" in most driver heads. Includes two new .350 ferrules, 9/16" and 7/8" lengths.
PLEASE READ: This is a used shaft, so therefore carries 'no warranty' by me or the manufacturer. You have 3 days to inspect the shaft and return if you find shaft not as described. Once the shaft is installed there is no return. Shaft has been inspected and has been tip flexed about 3" to mark the spine, which is most likely more stress than shaft is subjected to during the swing.
Spine has been marked for alignment. This shaft has one spine. Studies have shown that shafts with one spine perform the best and most consistent with the spine aligned in the 9:00 o'clock position (i.e. same direction as ball flight) with 12:00 o’clock being straight up in address position. A few studies have shown that the 9:00 o'clock position yields the best accuracy but aligning the spine in the 3:00 o'clock position will yield more distance with some loss in accuracy. Reverse for southpaws.
Studies have also shown that spine alignment increases sweet spot hits by more than 50% for high handicappers, almost 40% for mid-handicappers, and almost 30% for low handicappers and professionals.
